Keep Your Senior Pets Healthy
As pets age they need different types of care. At Four Paws Animal Hospital, we tailor a wellness program to meet your pet’s needs and work toward preventing or detecting health problems early.
Vaccinations, intestinal parasite exams, and heartworm testing are recommended as pets age. Wellness blood testing and an electrocardiogram are highly recommended every 6 months as part of an early detection program. Oftentimes, the onset of disease is so gradual that it may go unnoticed in seemingly healthy pets. Diagnostic testing is an important tool in early detection of sub-clinical health problems and we are happy to provide this for your pet.
If your pet is on therapeutic drugs, we have the ability to monitor those levels and create a wellness blood profile every 6 months.
