Four Paws Animal Hospital Katrina Relief
This was on our way into New Orleans. It was interesting to see one tree that represented what they all used to look like while all the rest were stripped clean.
There is now no water anywhere near these boats. Yet here they sit next to the interstate in New Orleans.
This is debris along the side of the road left over from when people were living there.
These cars floated into this area and were dropped here when the water receded. Definitely shades of a war zone.
This is a checkpoint. If you get off the interstate in New Orleans. You have to convince these guys that you have a good reason to be there.
